As we were looking for a few photos to picture Right Foot’s history, Mike Randerson brought out a box of photos documenting about 30 years of racing in Wisconsin. We had such a great time looking at the photos, and we couldn’t resist putting some on our website. We hope you enjoy these as much as we did.
- Alan Kulwicki & Mike Randerson at the 1980 World of Wheels Car Show with Alan’s 1st Randercar.
- Mike Randerson & Crew gridding Phyllis Randerson’s brand new Camaro. Alan Kulwicki drove the car at the 1986 Milwaukee Mile. This was the car’s only race. Kulwicki was involved in a wreck with Bob Senneker that destroyed the car. Kulwicki was already running NASCAR in ’86 so this was his last short track race.
- Bob Iverson in about 1985 – We’re in NE Wisconsin so we can’t leave out the U.P.’ers to the North. Bob won multiple track championships at Norway, MI.
- Dave Watson at Kaukauna in 1986 – One of Wisconsin’s great short track drivers.
- Gary Roehrborn at WIR in the early 80’s. Gary worked as a fabricator at Randercar for many years.
- Jerry Smith in Mike & Phyllis Randerson’s USAC Plymouth in 1969. This car was an ex-Norm Nelson car with a Hemi built by Gerald Kulwicki.
- Terry Baldry in 1985 – Many time WIR Track Champion.
- Scott Hansen in the Baker ASA Lumina, about 1990. Scott went on to NASCAR.
- A Wisconsin Legend – Mike Randerson built up this Camaro using a Stock Car Products front stub and parts of a Bemco rear stub. Roger Regeth drove the car to 23 feature wins in 1975. During the year, Roger and the car were undefeated at the old Leo’s Speedway in Oshkosh.
- Roger Paul and his 68 Chevelle in the Shawano Speedway pits – 1972.
- Pete Parker with a 100 lap feature win during Florida Speed Weeks in his Howe/Randercar – 5th design, about 1983. Check out the rear spoiler.
- Jim Vandenberg in 1986 – Fast time at Shawano Speedway. Jim’s son, Jason, is now racing at WIR.
- Leon Plank in 1984 – One of the many highly competitive drivers from NW Wisconsin.
- Lowell Bennett, multiple track champion at WIR and Slinger at New Symrna in 1986. In the photo, Lowell is testing the 1st Randercar Strut Front End.
- Mike Melius in 1991 – Another Hales Corners Feature Win in Bill Behling’s #74. That’s Bill in the hat. Behling CTE is a long time Right Foot Dealer and friend.
